As digitalisation accelerates and enters every aspect of our lives, those who lack access to technology are finding themselves socially and professionally disadvantaged.

In 2017, **BeCentral** was born as a grass-roots social venture co-founded by 64 social and technology entrepreneurs. Both a space and a community, it has quickly grown to become the most diverse tech ecosystem in Belgium, enabling more than 600.000 citizens to become makers of the digital future. The BeCentral Foundation extends BeCentral's mission outside its walls.

The BeCentral Foundation bridges the digital gap, creating a more inclusive society where everyone can access the opportunities of the digital era.

**How?** By funding, promoting and operating all kinds of programs in Belgium or abroad, provide education on new technologies, scientific and technological research and entrepreneurship.
